Philosophy of Care
The stigma of mental health disorders and/or addiction often stops people from seeking assistance for several reasons. Fear of judgment. Fear of being treated like a number, not a human being. Fear of being “told” what the treatment plan is. I believe in creating a safe space for the patient and provider to build trust, determine long-term and short-term goals which leads to the start of a successful journey together.
